Crossfit Games Open 20.1 (Ages 16-54) (Time)

10 rounds for time of:

8 ground-to-overheads, 95 lb/65lb

10 bar-facing burpees

Time cap: 15 minutes
This is the first one and it’s easy to get caught up with our nerves and come out hot, we need to stay calm and breathe through our reps. All that needs to be said is that there are 80 GTO and 100 BF burpees to complete. The barbell has to stay in motion, athletes should do what they must to make that happen. Start with snatches and if needed use the c&j to keep the bar cycling. The burpees should be dialled in, moving as fast as possible without having to slow down. This means sticking to a certain pace. Treat this one like an interval workout 10 rounds seems like a lot but it will be a quick barn burner.
