The CFO Way
To build a community of people who are driven by purpose and focus on virtuosity, within their journey to increase their capacity in health, function, and basic human ability. Our role is to assist the world in ridding of chronic disease with people living a long and fulfilled life.
“There is no greatness where there is no simplicity, goodness, and truth.” -Leo Tolstoy, War & Peace
Health
Keeping people from the nursing home is our bare minimum. We should actively and continually be headed toward great human capacity.
“Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.”
-Greg Glassman
Virtuosity
Consistently focusing on what is directly in front of us. Doing the right things for the right reasons and similarily mastering the basics.
Our Golden Rule: Short term pain for long term gain.
Happiness
An atmosphere that is condusive to a loyal family environment through support, accountability and gratitude. Building strong relationships, and attempting to see the opportunities in any situation.
We want members to come into class with a positive attitude, ready to learn, ready to be coached, ready to make this the best hour of their day.
“The magic is in the movement, the art is in the programming, the science is in the explanation, and the fun is in the community”
-Greg Glassman
