We can look at today like stages, coming off the c&j emom, athletes can expect to have tired hips for the beginning of the MetCon with burpee box jumps. It is best to use the first 10 reps of all movements as pace management reps. If athletes find we are starting a little hot we can cool off during the first 10, outside of this is too late. Adversely, if we start off too slow, we should be able to pick it up within this window. The rest of the 20 reps is about holding yourself accountable to the pace you set from the start.
